GI Herbal Rotation Program

The health and wellness of the gastrointestinal tract (GI tract) is critical to the health and wellness of the brain. Gastrointestinal symptoms, such as nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, food sensitivities, bloating, gas, food intolerance, diarrhea and constipation, often occur simultaneously with psychiatric symptoms, such as depression, anxiety, insomnia, attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder, memory loss, alcohol, drug, tobacco or prescription drug addiction, obsessions and compulsions, or other psychiatric conditions.

In some cases, the herbal rotation protocol may be necessary. These herbs are used in sequence to rid the body of parasites and stubborn bacteria, not eliminated by probiotics (FloraMax). Removal of unfriendly organisms such as bacteria, yeast or candida, and parasites, is important for gastrointestinal health. Herbs are plants that have extraordinary defenses against the same kids of unfriendly organisms that can infect our intestines and cause symptoms.

Unfortunately, the unfriendly organisms can rapidly build up immunity to anything we use to remove them. Therefore, a rotational strategy than used a constantly changing regimen of herbs is recommended. By the time the unfriendly organisms are beginning to build up a resistance to the current herbs, a new set is applied to catch them off guard. The GI Herbal Rotation Program contains 8 separate herbs used in combination over a 2-3 month period. People have reported excellent results.
